Trained in interior design and architecture in New York, Paris, and London, Kathleen brings a global perspective to every project, thoughtfully sourcing furnishings, materials, and details from around the world to create homes that are distinctive and unique.
Much of Kathleen’s work focuses on renovation and interior transformation. She guides projects of all styles from concept to completion, collaborating closely with a trusted team of craftsmen, artisans, and tradespeople. Materials are chosen with intention, details are edited with care, and the result is always a home with depth, soul, and authenticity.
In addition to her interior design practice, Kathleen serves as Design Director for Viridian Design Group, leading the design of new custom homes from the earliest stages. Her approach emphasizes harmony not only within the home but also between the home and its surrounding landscape. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s principles, she strives to create complete, harmonious environments that feel integrated and uniquely connected to their sites.

I hired Kathleen Goodwin Interiors again to design a new Playroom for my teens. Her approach was to listen to our desires and guide us appropriately. She suggested that we use some indoor/outdoor items for peace of mind, knowing how spills can and will happen in a Playroom. We are so happy we did. Kathleen included in her design, enough millwork to store and hide games away when we need to use the room for guests. It is a bright and cheery space we can all use.
