Viridian Custom Homes is led by Kathleen Goodwin and Jonathan Cape, partners in both business and life who bring complementary strengths to every project.
Kathleen Goodwin has more than 25 years of design experience, supported by formal training in architecture and design in New York and Paris. She has led projects ranging from custom homes to large-scale renovations, designing each residence in its entirety to ensure flow, comfort, and function. Kathleen works closely with architectural teams to integrate design with engineering and construction, always keeping the client’s vision at the center and ensuring that every choice reflects their lifestyle and sense of home.
Jonathan Cape oversees business operations, construction planning, and real estate strategy. With 25 years of experience in operations, product management, and real estate, supported by an MBA, he ensures that every project is executed with clarity and precision. His leadership background, including service as an officer in the British Army, enables him to keep projects on budget and on track while aligning every detail with client goals.
Together, Kathleen and Jonathan provide a boutique, hands-on experience that combines design vision with operational expertise, delivering thoughtful, well-executed projects from concept to completion.

We started working with Kathleen in 2025 on a complete remodel of our home. Her input in working with the architect in designing our space was invaluable. She was very collaborative with the architect and contractor which made the entire process a pleasure. We appreciated that she took the time to get to know us, listen to our ideas and understand our aesthetic. I hired Kathleen Goodwin Interiors again to design a new Playroom for my teens. Her approach was to listen to our desires and guide us appropriately. She suggested that we use some indoor/outdoor items for peace of mind, knowing how spills can and will happen in a Playroom. We are so happy we did. Kathleen included in her design, enough millwork to store and hide games away when we need to use the room for guests. It is a bright and cheery space we can all use.
